A lot of fir-trees are cut down every year on New Year's eve. Our teacher of Biology asked us to make New Year compositions using diferent materials. We had many ideas.

These are lovely!!! What wonderful ideas you all had for making a wonderful Christmas decoration without cutting down a tree. In France, many people have fake trees, so that they don't have to cut a real tree, and also because it is easier and not as messy...no pineneedles that fall to the floor. Do you have fake New Year's trees in Russia?
